Looking back on these pictures I would just love to

get away again. We had great time! Kelsie and Landon

wasn't to adventurous about getting in the ocean. Kelsie

did learn how to swim without floaties before we left the

beach.

Morning Time With Landon

It has been quite an adventure with Landon this morning. I didn't get a picture of what he did first this morning, which was spilling my coffee in the floor. After, that he got Kelsie's dress shoes and starts stomping around the house. As, you can see he is quite mischievous, always into something, but he is so cute when he is getting into trouble which makes it hard to discipline him. He may just be wanting some attention from Mama. Who knows! He is always up to something.

Next thing I know he is in the fireplace and says Hi Mama!

Kindergarten Graduation May 28th 2008

It is hard to believe Kelsie has already graduated from Kindergarten. She had a great year and made lots of new friends. Unfortunately, her best friend Chloe is moving away this summer. It amazing to see how much she learned in such a short time. She couldn't have had a better teacher, she was great. I know this is just the beginning of her school years, but it was so hard to hold back the tears when they showed a sweet slide show at her graduation. I am so proud of her. My baby girl is growing up way too fast!

Memorial Day Weekend at Grandpa's 2008

This is probably one of my most enjoyable days of the year. Even though we have lost Grandma, it just brings back special memories from the years that she was alive. She was a great Grandmother and I miss her very much, but I know she is in a better place now.

Playing in the Creek!

Kelsie, Landon, Mom, Kim and I went out to
Bearskin after being at Grandpa Cecil's house
Memorial Day weekend. It was nice to go there
and get away from everything and let the kids
enjoy playing in the creek!

Landon got a kick out of throwing rocks into the creek.

*************

This last week and a half has been very hard for me , so I haven't had a chance to add anything new to my blog. Shannon and I had to take Landon out of the daycare he has been going to and find somebody else to keep him. He had an incident to happen to him at daycare, not only did this affect him, but has turned mine and Shannon's life upside down trying to figure out what to do. I will not go into the details of what happened on my post, but the incident is still being investigated by state and social services. He wasn't physically hurt, but possibly emotionally. It is hard to tell with a 2 year old. As a mother you don't want to leave your child at a daycare anyways. This makes it ten times harder to deal with being you are relying and trusting someone else to take care of your child. Luckily, Kelsie never had to go to daycare, only a few times. I admire those moms who can stay home and take care of their kids. I know it is not easy for them, but at least they have the assurance that their child is being well taken care of. Quiet often in the past week I have been placing blame on myself. A lot of what ifs have been going through my mind. I thought I was taking my child to a descent daycare. Unfortunately, I was not. It has probably been one the worst weeks of my life, but I not going to let it bring me down. I have to keep on going and stay strong for me and my kids. As any mother knows you would do anything for your child and your love for them is so great that when anything happens to them it just breaks your heart. However, Shannon and I was truly blessed to find a wonderful babysitter last week. She usually keeps three kids at most at her house. He has only stayed two days with her but I can already tell she is great with kids and is an all around wonderful person. It is still hard sending him, but until I can quit work or go part time this is my best option. I know God works in mysterious ways, so I just to have to have lots of faith and leave it in his hands. I am sure this will all work out for the best. Just keep my family in your prayers to help us through this hard time in our life! We can only rely on God in times like these!!!
